Engineered Wood

Engineered wood, essentially a layer of ‘real wood’ such as oak, walnut etc, in varying depths, sizes, colours and finish’s, strengthened by a structural base layer – most often ply.

Laminate

Laminate is normally a High Density Fibreboard HDF with a digital decorative paper, covered with an overlayed laminated surface. Therefore, this is an entirely manmade product and not subject to the subtle, natural inconsistencies of wood. Modern laminate ‘clicks’ together and as such make it an excellent choice for DIY, much like Click LVT.
